in paediatrics, with extensive exposure to both acute and chronic childhood conditions, and a special focus on newborn and neonatal care, including premature infants.

She completed her MBBS at International Medical University (IMU) on scholarship and later obtained her Master of Paediatrics from the University of Malaya in 2018. Her dedication to neonatal medicine led her to present her research at the 4th International Neonatology Association Conference in Ghent, Belgium, where she was also awarded Best Poster Presentation at the Regional Congress of the Perinatal Society of Malaysia.

Dr Sushintha previously served at Hospital Seberang Jaya and Hospital Pulau Pinang and continues her practice with passion at Pantai Hospital Ipoh since April 2024.

Her philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that “Help Ever, Hurt Never” and that medicine is both service and worship. She believes in treating not just the child, but supporting parents as key partners in a child’s health and future.
